Pre-season will begin for the blue-half of Osaka on the 21st of January, just 20 days after the Emperor’s Cup final defeat to Kashiwa Reysol.
As per usual, the team will have their camps split into two. The first will take place in Guam and the team will depart for the training camp on the 30th January, which will take place at the Leo Palace Resort until the 6th February. The squad will then head to Miyazaki Prefecture from the 8th February until the 19th February.
The first day of pre-season should give us an indication of who will be staying at the club as well as introducing all the new players and staff for the 2013 season. I hope your favourite player decides to stay on for the J2 battle (come on Fujiharu!). In addition, the traditional club logo will be announced and the new uniforms should also be unveiled. Given that the previous uniforms lasted two seasons, I’m really looking for something eye-catching and interesting.
